I am a PhD student in mathematics at the University of Bonn and the Max Planck Institute for Mathematics, where I work under the supervision of Ursula Hamenstädt. My research lies at the intersection of hyperbolic geometry, geometric topology, and arithmetic groups.

My main interests focus on the topology and geometry of arithmetic hyperbolic manifolds, with particular emphasis on torsion phenomena in homology. In my current work, I study the growth of homological torsion in towers of covers of hyperbolic manifolds and investigate how geometric constructions give rise to large torsion subgroups. This includes explicit constructions using right-angled polytopes, Coxeter groups, and totally geodesic submanifolds.

I received both my Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees from the Moscow Institute of Physics and Technology under the supervision of Nikolay Bogachev, and was involved in teaching and research in geometry and topology.

Before focusing on pure mathematics, I was mainly interested in competitive programming during high school ( cyanprism ).
